The name “Bolaven” looks similar to a place that situated in Europe. In fact, this place is in the South of Laos which we can experience the great weather at the very first wonderful moment we visit this place and it should be lovely all year round. Even when I came to this place during Songkran in April, the temperature was only at 25 degrees. It’s not too cold at night. You can travel from Ubon Ratchathani (Chong Mek Border) with a 40-minute drive to the city of Pakse.
“Laven” is a historical tribal name. Foreigners in the past called “Bolaven” which is located in Dong Hua Sao National Park, Paksong, Champasak, Laos PDR.
Building trail here was fun all the time thanks to the charm of Lao people that made us warm in every journey.
What you see from picture or video is just a part of our journey. We would like you to see with your own two eyes. There’s no vocabulary to describe because it’s absolutely beautiful.
